Our Values
What we believe and our conduct.
-
God
We value our belief in God, our Creator. This is the same God that our founding fathers believed and had faith in. It was their faith in Him and the Bible that brought about the United States of America.
-
Family
We value the traditional family unit, as the foundation of a stable society. God established the first family and therefore we value the traditional family unit as set forth in the Bible.
-
Community
We value the local community where we know our neighbors and our neighbors know us. We look out for each other and support each other. We do this not only in word, but also in deed.
-
Country
We value our country and patriotism. Our country was founded by men of wisdom that valued God's word in formation or government. God has greatly blessed these United States of America because we chose to place Him first in its formation, and we owe it our allegiance.
-
Constitution
We value the United States Constitution. It is the document that is to be applied as it was written by the founding fathers, as it is the law of the land, and the guide for our country. Any law that goes against the Constitution is a violation of our Constitution.
-
Liberty
We value liberty, which is the state of being free, within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority, on one's way of life, behavior, or political views.
-
Freedom
We value freedom, which is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants, without hinderance or restraint.
-
Being a Republic
We value being a republic. A republican form of government as forth by the US Constitution is one where the power lies within the people to majority elect representatives on their own behalf. It is a government "Of the people, by the people, and for the people."
-
Bill of Rights
We value the Bill of Rights as set forth as the first ten amendments of the US Constitution. These rights have been bestowed to all free persons, not by the government, but by our Creator. The Bill of Rights declares these rights so that no tyrannical government can infringe upon them.
-
Education
We value the education of all people. As Abraham Lincoln said, "The education of one generation will be the government of the next." With proper education a free people will remain a free people.
